Taraz State University named after M. Kh. Dulati has the status of an accredited university. That means TarSU passed national institutional accreditation and specialized accreditation on 78 educational programs (majors) in the Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency for Education (IQAA). Thus TarSU confirmed the compliance of educational programs quality to European standards of education.

We can proudly say that TarSU is the only university in Zhambyl region which offers education in 78 accredited educational programs.
December 6, 2014 Accreditation Council adopted a positive decision on the accreditation of 43TarSU educational programs for 5 years period. Issued certificate of accreditation indicates the status of the quality of education of the university.
The university has started a new process of concluding a bilateral agreement on June 28, 2014 about passing specialized accreditation. The necessary laboratory equipment and classrooms for 43 educational programs were purchased and installed in order to meet the standards and criteria of specialized accreditation.
Everyone knows that specialized accreditation process generally consists of three stages. On the basis of specialized accreditation standards and criteria the department within one year pass the first stage – self-assessment, as a result of the self-assessment report is prepared. Self-assessment is to determine the strengths and weak points to achieve the goals and objectives.
According to 6 standards and criteria of IQAA specialized accreditation working groups of consultants and translators were established, in the end there was a lot of work on drawing up reports on self-assessment. Overall 129 reports were prepared on self-assessment in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
219 teachers from 22 departments, 13 consultants from structural units and 20 translators were involved in the process.
Since 10 to 15 November 47 experts (7 foreign and 40 domestic) arrived at TarSU. There were also foreign and domestic experts (scientists), representatives of employers and students.
For the effective carrying out the accreditation process and to assess the reliability of the data in the report educational programs were divided into 6 clusters and 2 working days were allocated to each cluster.
According to the program of an external assessment experts visited scientific information center, laboratory of nano-engineering researches and gave appreciation to unique opportunities of the above-named divisions, showed interest to strong material base and the area of constructions of the university.
The group of experts got acquainted with the report on external audit of the management and the representatives of the university who enable the realization of the accredited educational program.
Experts noted the high level of readiness and responsibility of the university staff to process of specialized accreditation.
